  • Select, develop, catalog and classify library resources.
  • Manage the planning, administrative and budgetary functions of library and information services.
  • Management of staff, including recruitment, training and/ supervisory duties.
  •  Developing IT facilities and promoting the use of it.
  •  Ensuring that the library services are up-to-date with the needs of the users.
  • Order materials and maintain records for payment of invoices.
  • Prepare reports related to library and information services.
