About Exam

"All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Entrance Examination is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission to MBBS programmes offered in AIIMS, New Delhi and six other AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi will conduct AIIMS MBBS Exam 2017 on May 28 for MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS like institutions. The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2017 has started from January 24, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test. The last date to fill the application forms is February 23, 2017. The AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) for 3 hours & 30 minutes. The online exam will be conducted in two slots – Morning (9:00 am to 12:30 pm) and Forenoon Sessions (3:00 pm to 6:30 pm). Candidates have to appear for the online test as per slot allotted to them. As a major addition, AIIMS has announced additional seven seats at AIIMS New Delhi, making the total number of MBBS seats to 707 from 700. "

Eligibility

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility 2017

Candidates who apply for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam 2017 are advised to read the eligibility criteria to ascertain their age and qualification as required by the examination authority, AIIMS New Delhi.
Nationality – Candidates must be Indian nationals. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) is also eligible.
Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination
Age: Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31, 2017.
Date of Birth: Candidates born on or after January 2, 2000 are not eligible.
Education Qualification: Applicants must have passed the 12 Class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects from Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or same examination from a recognised University/ Board.
Candidates who will appear for 10+2/HSC can also apply for AIIMS MBBS 2017.
General and OBC candidates  must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%.

Exam Process

AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2017
 
The online application procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2017 has started from January 24, 2017, and will continue till February 23, 2017. It must be noted that the application form can be submitted in online mode only and any other mode of application will not be accepted.
 
The application procedure of AIIMS MBBS can be completed in four stages :
1. Online Registration and Filling the Application form
2. Application confirmation
3. Uploading images
4. Payment and generation of registration slip
The cost of AIIMS MBBS application form is Rs. 1000 for General/OBC and Rs. 800 for SC/ST category candidates. OPH Candidates are exempted from paying the examination fee. The examination fee can be paid through Debit/Credit Card/Bank Challan along with applicable service tax.
