About Exam

About Exam IBPS Clerk 2016 Main Examination concluded on January 1, 2017. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the IBPS Clerk for candidates who aspire to be recruited as a clerk in various public sector banks in India. The candidates are shortlisted for Mains on the basis of their marks obtained in the Prelims.

Eligibility

Eligibility

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university + citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan + 20 to 30 years as of 1st July, 2017. Candidates should have a degree/diploma in Computer Education or they should have Computer Education as one of their subject in high school + qualifiers of IBPS (Preliminary).

Exam Process

Application Process

Candidates should fill the online application on www.ibps.in. Rs. 600/- is the fee for General Category and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD Category. Cut-off - Mean - 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD Categories and - Mean - 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category.                   

Candidates who have cleared the preliminary and main exam by scoring necessary marks will be invited for the interview round.

Exam Pattern

Reasoning - 50 questions - 50 marks
English Language - 40 questions - 40 marks
Quantitative Aptitude - 50 questions - 50 marks
General Awareness - 40 questions - 40 marks
Computer Knowledge - 20 questions - 20 marks
Total Duration - 2 hours.
