About Exam

National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology conduct National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination for admissions to B.Sc. programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. NCHM JEE scores are accepted by 21 Central Institutes, 19 State Government Institutes and 15 private institutes of Hotel Management.


Candidates should have passed 10+2 qualifying examination from any state or national board of education with English as a compulsory subject.

General and OBC category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1 of the year of admission

Reserved category candidates are provided age relaxation of up to three years i.e. they should not be more than 25 years of age

Candidates qualified General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination at Advanced (A) level (London/ Cambridge/ Srilanka) are also eligible

Candidates need to have passed Senior Secondary Examination from National Open School with minimum five subjects with English as a core subject can also apply for NCHM JEE 2017

Exam Process

The application form of NCHM JEE 2017 is available in online as well as offline mode. The application form can be obtained from the designated institutes as mentioned by the exam conducting authority. Candidates need to remit an application fee in online or offline mode

Register with valid e-mail id and password for NCHM JEE 2017

Remit the application fee for NCHM JEE 2017 before proceeding to fill in the application form

Fill in the NCHM JEE 2017 application form including personal details, academic qualification, and other required information

Upload scanned copy of photograph and Signature

Submit the application form of NCHM JEE 2017 and get print out for future references


The exam conducting authority will be conducting NCHM JEE 2017 in offline mode on April 29.

Exam duration: 3 hours 

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions

Exam Timing: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Total questions: 200

Total Marks: 200 marks

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted in case of each wrong attempt
