About Exam

NPAT 2017 is conducted every year by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). It is held for students seeking admission to various undergraduate degree and integrated degree programs offered by NMIMS at Mumbai, Shirpur and Bengaluru Campuses. The candidates can apply online from March 10, 2017 to May 3, 2017.

Eligibility

B.Tech. & MBA (Tech)

45% marks in class 12 or equivalent is required for admission in Shirpur Campus.

Candidates must hold an IB diploma with Mathematics at higher level or have an aggregate minimum score of 50% in diploma Engineering.

Candidates who have passed class 12 examination or equivalent from Open or Distance learning school (recognized only by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS))

The candidates who are yet to receive their final mark sheet but are called for admission counselling will be allowed provisional admission on the basis of NPAT merit list. Such candidates will have to submit the fees but only the submission of final mark sheet before the program commences will confirm their admission. For confirming their eligibility, they will have to submit a copy of AIU notification for the equivalence of their program to class 12 examinations.

Candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in written.

Candidates must mention in the online registration / e-admission form class 12th aggregate marks of all subjects they have appeared for not just top four, five, six or seven in ICSE/CBSE examination.

For eligibility purposes, the aggregate percentage in such subjects & PCM percentages are considered.

The maximum age limit for being eligible to appear in NPAT 2017 is 25 years.

MBA Pharma Tech (B. Pharm + MBA)

Candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate Diploma Science or science vocational with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics Chemistry and Biology (PCB).

Candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject.

An aggregate minimum score of 50% in PCM/PCB is required to be eligible in NPAT 2017.

Candidates awaiting their class 12th result this year are also eligible to apply.

The candidates who have their result in GPA/CGPA should get the equivalent percentage for the same from the concerned board/university in written.

Candidates must mention class 12th aggregate marks of all the subjects they have appeared in ICSE/CBSE examination during the online registration/ e-admission through NPAT 2017.

It is mandatory to pass the qualifying examination in one attempt. A single mark sheet displaying marks of all compulsory subjects is mandatory. A compartmentalized mark sheet will not be considered.

The candidates, appearing for class 12th examination are eligible for NPAT 2017, provided, candidates must score the minimum cut off and produce required documents in originals within prescribed time. 

B.Sc. Economics

Candidates must have secured atleast 60% in class 12 examinations or equivalent in first attempt from any recognized board including International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream.

Aspirants must have passed Mathematics / Statistics subject in class 12 examinations or equivalent to be eligible for NPAT 2017.

B.Sc. Finance / B.Com (Hons.) / B.B.A

Candidates must have qualified in class 12 examination or equivalent in first attempt from any recognized board including International Baccalaureate Diploma in any stream AND

Candidates must have secured atleast 50% in class 12th examination or equivalent to be eligible for B. Com. (Hons.) and 60% for B.B.A. & B.Sc. (Finance) Program

NPAT aspirants must have passed Mathematics/ Statistics in class 12 examination or equivalent to be eligible for B.B.A / B.Com (Hons) / B.Sc. (Finance) admissions through NPAT 2017.

IB candidates are eligible to apply for B.B.A / B.Sc. (Finance) program only if they have offered and passed Mathematics / Statistics at Standard Level (SL).

Enter your first name, last name, e-mail id and password

Click on register and sign in

Candidates will get confirmation mail of registration on their e-mail id

There will be six drop down sections in application form.

Fill the form correctly

Upload your scanned photograph

Candidates can pay the application fee by credit card/debit card

NPAT 2015 Admit card

Entrance Exam for all courses will be conducted on May 9-10, 2015. It will be from 10am-12pm. Candidates need to report by 8.45 am at exam center with their admit card and an id proof

Candidates can download the admit card from website from May 6, 2015 onwards.

It will not be send by post/courier.

If students will not have hall ticket or photograph on admit card, they will not be allowed to appear for exam.

Pattern

It will be an objective type test

Duration of exam is two hours

Total number of questions: 150

One-fourth of allotted marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer

Proficiency in English language: 50 questions

Quantitative and numerical ability: 50 questions

Reasoning and general intelligence: 50 questions
