About Exam

If you are planning to make your career in teaching sector then you can apply for UPTET examination. Online Registration has been issued by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board from well qualified candidates for UP Teacher eligibility Test. Capable candidates who wish to apply for UPTET 2017 must fill online application form on or before closing date.

Eligibility

Candidates’ age must be between 18 Years to 35 Years.

UPTET Qualification for Primary Teachers (Class 1 to 5)

Candidates have to fulfil any one of the following criteria:

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC/ passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are studying in the final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognized by RCI

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC (Urdu)/ passed in a institute affiliated to NCTE

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are in final year/ passed Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are Moallim-e-Urdu degree holders from Aligarh Muslim University before August 11, 1997. (For Urdu Teaching)

Candidates must have scored 50% marks in intermediate and who are currently studying in the final year of B.EL.ED

UPTET Qualification of Primary Teachers (Class 6 to 8)

Candidates must have completed their graduation from college/university recognized by UGC or those who are studying in the 2nd year of BTC in an institute affiliated to NCTE

Candidates must have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with minimum of 50% marks from college/university recognized by UGC or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to NCTE

Candidates must have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with minimum of 50% marks from college/university recognized by UGC or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE

Candidates must have completed their graduation/ post-graduation with minimum of 50% marks from college/university recognized by UGC or those who have passed or currently studying in 2nd year of B.Ed (Specialization) in an institute affiliated to RCI

Candidates must have scored 50% marks in intermediate and who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.Ed

Candidates must have scored 50% marks in intermediate and who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.S.C.Ed

Candidates must have scored 50% marks in intermediate and who are currently studying in the final year or passed B.EL.ED

Exam Process

It is a 4 step process:

1. Online Registration

2. Payment of Fees

3. Uploading of Documents

4. Printing of Application Form

After final submission, a computer generated registration and password will be shown on the screen. It should be noted and preserved for future correspondence.

Payment of fees is done after UPTET Registration. UPTET Fees has to be paid either by generating e-challan through SBI or SBI Internet Banking/Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/internet banking facility of other banks. Take print out of e-challan (for offline mode of payment).

After the payment of UPTET Fees, complete the TET Online Form and mention the Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Transaction ID/Journal Number (provided by bank) and submit the UPTET Form. Take the print of the completed UPTET Online Application Form and keep it safe for the future use.
